Anxiety Treatment in Orange County, CA

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health disorders in the U.S., affecting approximately 40 million adults each year, or 18.1% of the population. Anxiety can stem from a range of risk factors, such as brain chemistry, genetics, personality and life events. Although it’s a highly treatable condition, only 36.9% of people actually receive treatment.

People who deal with anxiety often turn to substances to relieve symptoms of an underlying mood disorder. But self-medicating with drugs or alcohol relieves feelings of worry and fear by masking them–not addressing their source. Since substance use disorder rarely occurs on its own, it’s vital to confront the deep-rooted mental health issues like anxiety that contribute to addiction and are exacerbated by it.

For clients who have an anxiety disorder or anxiety disorder and a substance use disorder (co-occurring disorders), PACE Recovery offers both outpatient and inpatient anxiety treatment.

Inpatient & Outpatient Anxiety Treatment Services

Our Inpatient and Outpatient programs incorporate a range of clinical therapies and other modalities that address each client’s unique circumstances and needs:

Inpatient Anxiety Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders

A co-occurring disorder is a mental health disorder that coincides with substance use disorder. It’s common for someone with a mental health disorder such as anxiety to use drugs or alcohol to mask their symptoms. Although self-medication might offer temporary relief, it causes symptoms to worsen over time.
