How We Treat
Since 2012, we’ve provided industry-leading programming to the young men of Orange County. Here’s how we treat addiction, mental illness, trauma, and more.
Our therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, experiential therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic experiencing, and attachment-based therapy. Additionally, our team members are also equipped to treat men with adoption issues, those struggling with gender identity, and dual diagnosis clients. Co-occurring conditions typically seen in our dual diagnosis population include ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
Clients benefit from a varied approach that blends one-on-one therapy, group meetings, and family involvement. Through these sessions, they dive deep into the issues fueling their addiction and learn more about the disease itself. Therapists equip each man at PACE with relapse prevention tools, symptom management techniques, and solutions for common social issues and relationship problems. Family therapy sheds light on dysfunctional systems and equips loved ones to understand and reinforce each client’s sobriety.
We’re proud to offer the complete continuum of care for young men with substance use disorder, mental illness, relationship issues, attachment problems, trauma, and more. We invite you to learn more about the therapies offered at PACE.
